Program Manager
Position: Full Time

The Role:
This role is a great opportunity for a car enthusiast to get involved with the merchandising and cataloguing of product information for Moss Europe Ltd, whilst supporting the marketing & promotional activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Products - A great range of products that customers want/need and Moss can sell.
Product Selection
- See trends in the marketplace and develop/purchase products.
- Identify, evaluate and report on areas of opportunity for the company.
- Identify products that can be included in the programs.
Sourcing & Purchasing - Liaise with Purchasing and R&D to
- Investigate resourcing of products where current supply is too expensive, irregular and unreliable.
- Investigate sourcing of aftermarket products.
- Look for opportunities to manufacture items through Global sourcing group.
- Review and approve new products.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
Lifecycle & Inventory
- Manage the lifecycle of the product.
- Create a promotional cycle to invest in products, market and sell the product over a fixed time frame.
- Monitor overall program inventory.
- Create and maintain product information within internal systems.
- Analysis large data sets and cleanse data required for specific programs.
Pricing - Competitive pricing and profitability.
- Work with the Pricing Team to ensure products in the programs are competitively priced in the market and profitable for the company.
- Work with the Purchasing Team to ensure we are buying the best products at the best price.
Presentation - Accurate content well presented on website, catalogues and promotional literature.
Content
- Ensure accurate content is available for website and cataloguing.
- Develop product content for new products including descriptive text and application data.
- Ensure Marketing materials (catalogues, website etc) are technically accurate and up to date.
Technical
- Work with R&D Team as required on product specifications.
- Ensure products have the relevant technical support documents - fitting instructions.
Marketing Activity
- Understand the market's seasonal cycle.
- Work with Marketing to understand and develop strategy.
- Ensure products are promoted to targeted customers.
- Support marketing with promotional product selections.
Merchandising
- Ensure product details are well presented and up to date.
- Work with the retail branches to support their in-store displays.
- Coordinate POS materials - product information boards etc.
Sales Activity
- Support sales department with customer issues.
Product Information
- Set up an internal process to distribute product information to sales staff.
Other Responsibilities:
- Gather market intelligence to understand the overall market and competitive position.
- Attend appropriate club events, consumer shows, trade shows and other field activities.
- Monitor the aftermarket for short and long term product trends and requirements.
- Develop training programs.
- Develop sales initiatives.
- Maintain involvement with website administration and strategic development.
The Candidate:
To fulfil this role we are looking for a car enthusiast, preferably with automotive parts industry experience, and a keen eye for detail who is good at researching and data manipulation. The candidate should also be highly organized, diligent, hardworking and be able to work as part of a proactive team. They will also require the following:
- Automotive parts industry experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
- A good understanding of cars and their components.
- Excellent written and spoken English with good communication skills.
- Other written and spoken European languages (particularly French) would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Develop sales initiatives.
- Must be accurate and organised.
- Must be able to research issues and report findings.
- Must be able to liaise with and obtain information from colleagues.
- Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Word & Excel and the ability to learn new software.
- The confidence to ask questions when unsure.
